From a Food Truck to Two El Paso BBQ Stops
Skinny's BBQ started on the streets of El Paso, serving smoked meats out of a black trailer. It grew into two brick-and-mortar locations — one in East El Paso on Zaragoza, one in Horizon City — built one plate at a time.
The Truck That Started It
Before there were dining rooms, there was a pit on wheels. Skinny's BBQ hit the streets of El Paso with smoked meats, a cartoon pig on the side of the trailer, and no backup plan.
The BBQ
Brisket, ribs, sausage, chicken, pulled pork — smoked and served the Texas way. Guests keep coming back to the brisket and the ribs, and the platters that put everything on the table at once.
The Welcome
The owner greets guests at the door — not as a policy, just as a habit. That kind of hands-on presence is something guests mention again and again in their reviews.
